An Odessey of youthful transformation
When inspiration is backed with pure intentions it differently touches others to have a long indirect grateful experience.
I am certainly getting exposed to meaningful platforms where youth voices are heard and appreciated this remains one of the fundamental investments that were made when I was learning how to carry myself in the leadership space.
I found myself developing an interest in learning from others. Before I got my first article published in the magazine and the newspaper. I asked a fellow junior reporter named Rodgers Musonda how he was able to Sower in different areas such as writing and public speaking. He was kind enough to guide me on how to go about it.
In the process of pursuing knowledge, I cultivated a sense of gratitude and desire to know.
It was different for me because I saw my fellow Junior Reporters as leaders, and I could tap wisdom from them at any point.
When you have the burning desire to grow your passion everything falls in right place.
What may seem to have started as a sideline conversation gave birth to many opportunities that have shaped me into a purpose-driven change-maker.
While I was seeking guidance, I was already inspired by him because he had already gained credibility and confidence to speak on Radio, Television and have conversations with members of Parliaments.
I am grateful to Elizabeth Mawele because she always emphasized the importance of learning from those who did better than others.
Young people when they focus on becoming individuals of relevance their future driven with a great aura of inspiration and sustainability. They will get to speak with passion about their country and express their innovation so that it can spur economic emancipation and development. The competition should be professional in different spaces. There should never be a point where one aims at suppressing the ideas of others but work towards their fruition.
We should never get too familiar with people who carry greatness inside them sometimes that makes it difficult to humble ourselves in learning from those whose steps are above the rear.
What's missing in young people is the humility to be nurtured by their mates. Some youths are so obsessed with grabbing business cards from people they look up to which isn`t bad but one must learn to appreciate the bottom-to-top approach.
Our purpose must be defined at every phase of our existence so that impact may be felt even when we finally leave the planet. We can transform our minds for accelerated youth development if we also value our fellow young leaders who do amazing work in society.
