In wrapping up the women's month the crop of young leaders in Zambia continues to pursue work that is patriotic and inspiring.
With US Vice President Kamala Harris paying a historic visit today in the land of work and joy, the leadership space is being occupied by passionate and goal-oriented delegates.
While talent beats hard work Ladymore Mwendo an Actress in the Television series Ubuntu which features on Zambezi Magic TV plays a character named Kasuba who has optimized her passion for youth leadership and governance spaces.
As the country Co-Hosted the Democracy Summit Ms. Mwendo was among the youth delegates that a build-up session through the Zambia debates, the State of Democracy as seen in the picture.
"Our country is indeed a democratic nation but Democracy is beyond the free and fair election, Zambia still needs to work in the areas of Access to Information, Gender, and Social Inclusion," Ms. Mwendo said.
Ms. Mwendo who is currently studying Journalism and Public Relations at Evelyn Hone College feels power belongs to the people hence access to information is key.
The world is thriving in providing leadership for women around the globe.
Never follow the crowd too much always believe in your dreams and stay true to yourself and have your lane. Ms. Mwendo said.
